For two weeks now, Sonko has been moving in an out of courts, pushing for investigation of the Wiper MP over two separate accounts of fraud.

And in a chart from US, Momanyi asked the governor to move to court and file a criminal case instead of maligning his reputation.

"The governor knows well that whatever he is doing is violation of my rights and is unacceptable. It is pure political witch hunt.

"Instead of maligning me, he should file a case and push for my prosecution. At the end of it, he will still be left embarrassed," he wrote.

On the first account, Sonko demanded that Momanyi refunds City Hall Sh58 million that was part of Sh60 million paid to the MP after representation Nairobi County in a case.

And this week, Sonko also moved to court to stop payment of Sh6.2 million, accusing Momanyi of conspiring with General Suppliers Limited without his consent.
