A Member of Parliament allied to the opposition NASA has alleged that the Orange Democratic Party is secretly working with Jubilee Party in the National Assembly.
The Amani National Congress leader, ODM has struck a deal with Jubilee to vote in unison when it come house seats.
“It is known that ODM not only uses its majority in Parliament to deny other partners positions, but struck a partnership with Jubilee to vote as a team when it comes to House leadership positions,” the MP who sought anonymity is quoted by Standard.
He alleged that ODM was turning back and blaming other NASA partners for non-existent ills.
NASA principals are set to meet on Monday to discuss a number of issues facing the coalition.
“We expect the leaders to discuss the planned swearing-in, People’s Assemblies and whether there is need for dialogue with Jubilee. They will also discuss House leadership positions and how the committees were filled,” said ODM John chair John Mbadi.
