Laikipia North MP Mathew Lempurkel has been arraigned in court once again over hate speech.

The MP was on Monday brought before the magistrate at the Kibera law courts over his recent allegations of incitement over the ongoing dispute in Laikipia county between the locals and white ranchers.

Last week the MP was quoted by the Star in a recorded audio saying once NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga wins the August 8, polls the whites will be driven out of Laikipia.

The prosecution team at the Kibera Law Courts wants Lempurkel detained to allow probe conclusion.
