Mbita Member of Parliament Millie Odhiambo has dismissed Chebukati's call for a repeat poll in Nasa strongholds.Millie Odhiambo on Thursday, October 26 through a social media post called Chebukati to declare President Uhuru Kenyatta the president-elect and stop bothering Nasa supporters. Millie further said that many of the Nasa supportersً will be going to church as majority belong to the seventh-day Adventists."We are Seventh Day Adventist. Many of the voters in Nasa stronghold are Seventh Day Adventists. The Bible warns us from carrying out any activity onSaturday. Chebukati told us to mind our business of which we did.Also, do your work and announce Uhuru as president. Nasa is operating under Article 1 of Kenyan Constitution," Millie saidWafula Chebukti postponed elections in four counties after voting materials failed to reach the polling stations. These counties include Migori, Homabay and Kisumu. Residents from these counties barricaded the roads preventing repeat poll from taking place.Chebukati said that all this happened due to lack of enough security in the area. Police spent the whole day in running battles with the residents.
