An opposition MP from Gusii believes Raila Odinga's golden days are gone and his troops should rethink of another strategy to ascend to power in 2022.
Sylvanus Osoro, a first term MP for South Mugirango insisted the planned swearing-in of Raila Odinga is a 'waste of time' adding that it won't change anything.
"Personally I respect Raila but I think his prime days are gone. The planned swearing-in cannot supersede the law of the land.
"We must appreciate the fact that he is our leader but presidency seems now something unattainable," said Osoro.
Surprisingly, his Friday's remarks at a funeral in his backyard, may have contradicted his initial stand in a Nyamira WhatsApp group.
By then, he said: "I was quoted out of context. I support Raila Odinga including his swearing-in."
At the moment, NASA is facing fierce internal rebellion with both Moses Wetangula, Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi said to be opposing the planned swearing-in.
