Outspoken South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro on Friday skipped court during the judgement on a petition challenging validity of his victory.
Instead, Osoro who is serving his first time, decided to mourn with various bereaved families in his backyard.
"I will not wast my substantive time listening to a case with no merit at all. I went to a school of law and graduated with Second Class Upper.
"Only that I missed just a point to get First Class. The case will be thrown out and that is a fact. I would rather mourn with my constituents that going to waste time in court," he wrote on Facebook.
And when delivering a judgment, Justice Hellen Omondi threw out the case, ordering the petitioner to pay the KNC legislator Sh2.5 million.
Although he was elected on a NASA leaning party, Osoro has on late vowed to work closely with the government of the day to spur growth in his backyard.
