A Member of Parliament allied to NASA has come out to explain why the opposition will not boycott salaries.
This is after NASA under the National Resistance Movement called on supporters to boycott Safaricom, Brookside and Bidco products.
Through her Twitter account, Busia Woman Rep Florence Mutua stated that salaries for legislators come from taxpayers whom they serve but not the Jubilee government.
Mutua was answering a question by a Twitter user on Friday.
“Taxpayers money which we are part of and we are elected by our people, not Jubilee. Fikiria hata Kidogo (think a little) it’s not painful,” she said.
NASA had called for a boycott of the companies products as a way of ensuring that the government listens to their demands.
