A Kisii Court is expected to rule on a petition challenging the victory of a NASA allied MP on Friday March 2.
The victory of South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro is hanging on balance after a petitioner Dennis Makori who unsuccessfully vied for the seat filed a petition challenging Osoro's win.
Makori told the court that the election of the youthful MP was not free and fair.
Makori claimed that Osoro bribed IEBC officials to rig the elections and declare him a winner.
The petitioner said over 1305 votes were added in favor of Mr Osoro.
He further said his supporters were harassed, intimidated and not allowed to cast their votes but his opponent's supporters were allowed to vote.
Makori wants the court to nullify Osoro's win and order IEBC to conduct fresh polls.
But Osoro through his lawyer Edward Begi urged the court to dismiss the petition on grounds that it lacks merit.
