Police have been forced to lobe teargas canisters at NASA members of parliament who were demanding the immediate release of Ruaraka MP Tom Kajwang.

The lawmaker was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly adminstering an oath to NASA leader Raila Odinga on Tuesday in Nairobi on Tuesday.

The lawamers were heading to Nairobi PCIO following Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang's arrest.

It is believed that Kajwang is being held at the station.

Kalwang was among lawyers who witnessed the controversial 'swearing-in' of Raail Odinga as the People's President.
