Lamu National Super Alliance coordinator, Zahara Shee, claims that a presidential ballot box has been stuffed.
After examining the ballot box she noticed that it held a number of votes prior to when voting started Tuesday.
"What's the meaning of that? Will someone say we are being crybabies when we say something fishy is already going on? Why have they refused to let our agents’ access polling stations? Someone better do something fast," she said as reported by The Star.
Party agent Mohamed Said stated that he submitted all the necessary documents but was not allowed to access the station.
"If they had any problem with us they should have said so from the start. They assured us there was no problem. Why now?" he said.
County IEBC coordinator Mohamed Adan has refuted the claims saying no one was denied access into the station while adding that those who were denied access into the polling stations lacked the necessary documents.
There was a bit of worry as to how the polls in Lamu would manage following an attempted blackout by Al Shabaab militants who allegedly bombed an electric post on Monday.
However, the IEBC guaranteed voters that measures have been put in place to make sure they get the chance to vote.
