ODM and the Amani National Congress party are in danger of giving the ruling Jubilee Party an upper hand.
On Tuesday, Musalia Mudavadi who is the ANC leader, was campaigning in Lugari Sub-County ahead of the August 8 election aiming to send President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee administration packing.
“I need enough solid support from my political base to spearhead our agenda in the Nasa coalition that’s why you need to vote in ANC leaders. Please don’t let me down,” Mr Mudvadi said.
However, differing in Kakamega County could tear the opposition coalition apart, since both parties have fielded candidates in the region.
Nasa in 2016, took in other parties such as ODM, Wiper, Ford Kenya and Chama Cha Mashinani.
In 2013, Mudavadi came in third during the presidential elections after getting 483,981 votes.
Despite leaders campaigning for Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga, they have already identified the individual party candidates they want to win the elective seats.
