National Super Alliance (NASA)Presidential Flag bearer Raila Odinga entertained his supporters with a football commentary after he was cleared to vie for the presidency in August.
In his characteristic style, the former prime minister did not disappoint his anxious fans when he took the microphone to commentate on the football match between NASA and Jubilee in which the opposition won.
Raila's line-up included Ms Ogla Karani as goalkeeper with Senator Johnstone Muthama, his Siaya counterpart James Orengo, and Governors Evans Kidero and Hassan Joho on defense.
He pointed out that President Kenyatta could not score Karani despite putting up a spirited fight.
“President Uhuru shoots but the goalkeeper, Mama Ogla Karani makes a terrific save.”
Ms. Ogla Karani once worked with Deputy President Wiliam Ruto as one of the members of the policy formulation team in 2015.
Karani says that she does not regret parting ways with Ruto.
“I have no regrets because it was the right and best decision I have ever made in my life,” she explains, adding that “God saved me much more than I could have ever saved myself from Jubilee people”.
