Through his twitter handle, Onyango said, "David Ndii being taken to Diani Police Station from Leopard Beach Hotel in Kwale because of his appointment to stear People's Assembly. The NASA leadership is in the picture.""One Mr Aleng Peter Gimwani, Service. No 234336 from the Flying Squad and five officers picked Dr David Ndii a few minutes ago from Leopard Beach Hotel in Kwale. Alenga told Ndii's wife that they are taking him to Diani Police Station. But Ndii is not at Diani."Raila's aide later added, Police have confirmed they have David Ndii at Diani Police Station.However, according to Nation, Msambweni OCPD Joseph Chebusit denied the arrest claims saying they did not have any person bearing such a name in their custody.In later statement issued by the ODM communication team at around Sunday midnight, Ndii's whereabouts were not known."David Ndii last seen inside one of 2 CID vehicles heading towards Mombasa. No word about his whereabouts since," read part of the statement.
