National super Alliance (NASA) leaders have united in a quest to ensure US envoy, Bob Godec is recalled from his ambassadorial duties of alledged biasness in addressing the political stalemate in the country.
According to the Daily Nation, Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi said that a bill will be drafted and presented to the relevant US Senate committee to recall the ambassador from Nairobi.
Wandayi argues that Mr Godec will taint the relationship between the US and Kenya is he will be left to continue representing the US in Kenya.
Wandayi said that the biasness is exhibited against NASA leader Raila Odinga since the ambassador convened meetings with NASA principals to convince them to abandon Odinga.
“More like-minded MPs and I will petition the US government using the relevant and official channels to raise our concerns over this grave matter,” he said.
It was alledged that NASA principals had visited the US ambassador before the NASA swearing in ceremony held on Tuesday January 30.
The three principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula failed to turn up for the event and claimed that they had been snatched their security detail hence therefore attending the ceremony was putting their lives at risk.
