NASA on Saturday postponed its political rallies in Marsabit county due to unavoidable circumstances.

ODM director of communications Philip Etale said a new date will soon be set and announced to NASA supporters in the region.

Etale apologized to supporters and the county government for any inconvenience caused after the cancellation.

According to a local daily, NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga was to lead NASA brigade for campaigns in Moyale, Marsabit, and Laisamis.

This comes as Kenyans are prepare to go to the ballot to elect their leaders on August 8.

Jubilee's and incumbent president Uhuru Kenyatta is seeking a second term in office, the seat opposition leader Raila Odinga is salivating for.

Both Jubilee and NASA have intensified campaigns across the country to persuade electorates to vote for them.
