Deputy president William Ruto has castigated Opposition's recent move to launch a political outfit, Nasa, that will see them vie to form next government from August 8.
Nasa, whose principals are Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula, was officially launched, February 22, 2017.
Its leaders said they were ready to address issues affecting Kenyans, once they get in power.
However, Ruto in a quick rejoinder dismissed Nasa's launch, saying they had nothing important to deliver to the people.
He said his Jubilee government had done almost everything for the people, and that Nasa was only after power and superiority.
Ruto indicated Nasa could not make any important step towards building Kenya, since they were yet to announce a presidential flag-bearer.
According to him, this was an indication the coalition was still in darkness, and could possibly split.
"They have been saying they have a big announcement to make. What have they announced? A flag-bearer? They don't even know who will be their president, how now do they expect you to believe they can deliver? This people and their Nasa can offer you nothing. They have noyhng to deliver,'' Ruto told residents in Mariakani, Kilifi County.
He was speaking, Wednesday, during a rally in the region.
He said Jubilee administration wants to speak with one voice and pull in the same direction as a country.
''To do this, we must base our politics on ideology, development, unity and policies that benefit wananchi. The people have a critical role in ensuring good governance by putting in office responsible and selfless leaders,'' he noted.
