Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has said that NASA has no right to ask Kenyans to boycott certain products in the market.
Ngunjiri said the path the opposition is taking will divide Kenyans along tribal lines.
The legislator accused NASA of hypocrisy saying they get salaries from the government yet they are asking their supporters to boycott products reportedly related to the Jubilee government.
The MP said the downfall of companies will even affect NASA supporters through job losses.
On Friday, opposition MPs asked supporters to boycott products and services by Safaricom, Brookside and Bidco as part of their resistance movement.
During a press conference at Okoa Kenya in Nairobi, the leaders wore white T-shirts with clenched fists, symbolic of the resistance.
They chanted 'Resist!' after each of the companies was mentioned.
Their goal, they said is to bring the institutions to their knees.
The leaders noted the boycott was part of the economic liberation scheme supported by the People's Assembly
