Reports indicated that the residents refused to be addressed by the NASA coalition leaders who visited the area to popularise their candidate Raila Odinga.

The NASA principals were heckled by Jubilee supporters forcing them to cut short their speeches.

The area falls under Baringo Senator Gideon Moi and is a perceived Jubilee stronghold.

However, the rally took place a few minutes after the hecklers were contained.
