Several high profile Ukambani politicians have pledged their support for the National Super Alliance (Nasa), through the Wiper Democratic Movement.
This is after Wiper party leader and Nasa principal Kalonzo Musyoka met them, alongside other Lower Eastern leaders, Tuesday.
They were led by Makueni governor Prof Kivutha Kibwana, Narc party leader Charity Ngilu, Chama Cha Uzalendo's Wavinya Ndeti and former Cabinet Minister Mutua Katuku.
They vowed to stick together and give Nasa full support ahead of the August 8, polls.
''The only way we can send the current corrupt regime home is by uniting now, more than ever before,'' said Kalonzo.
He emphasised that Nasa was the only hope for positive change among Kenyans.
