Despite his persistent criticism of NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga, Borabu MP Ben Momanyi will go down the history as the only Nyamira MP who attended the opposition leader's inauguration.
Prior to the inauguration, the Wiper MP was leading anti-swearing-in campaigns arguing that the event could further split the county.
But on Tuesday, Momanyi, who is serving his second term, was among MPs who occupied front seats at Uhuru Park.
It is not clear why he changed his mind but of late, Momanyi is preparing to take a stab at Nyamira governorship with sources saying he is keen to work with Raila.
Those who made their threats real include Vincent Kemosi (West Mugirango), Richard Onyonka (Kitutu Chache South) and Sylvanus Osoro of South Mugirango.
Raila took oath as the People's President in a function attended by thousands of NASA supporters from across the country.
