Three MPs who had initially opposed Raila Odinga's radical approach of politics has instead hailed him as a 'statesman'.
In a surprise meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila agreed to roll out a common programme with the latter on shared objectives.
"This was long overdue and I want to thank Raila for his wisdom in approaching contemporary issues," said Borabu MP Ben Momanyi.
His West Mugirango counterpart Vincent Kemosi said: "Deep in my heart I knew Raila would never let us down however much I differed with him. He is my hero."
Also, vocal Ford Kenya Deputy Leader Richard Onyonka said the move by Raila marked a major milestone in Kenyan politics adding that it will take a long time to have such a politician.
"He is a unique leader and as Gusii people, we back his latest surprise move. Honestly, I never expected him to work with Uhuru."
Prior to January 30th controversial swearing-in, the three vehemently opposed Raila's moves, terming it 'irrational' and even vowed to ditch NASA.
