President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party has lost 600 leaders to their main rival, the National Super Alliance (NASA).

The grass root leaders from Deputy William Ruto’s Uasin Gishu County backyard said they decided to ditch Jubilee Party for NASA because they had been given a raw deal by the Uhuru Kenyatta led party.

The 600, who were a part of Jubilee’s grass root mobilization team, were welcomed to the Opposition party by former Eldoret South MP Jese Mais and Uasin Gishu NASA coordinator Kipkorir arap Menjo at Ngeny grounds, Soy Constituency.

They also accused Jubilee of poor governance. They said that life had become harder for Kenyans since the President and his deputy assumed office.

They cited corruption, unemployment and inequitable distribution of resources as some of the things affecting majority of Kenyans.
