The National Super Alliance (Nasa), has echoed the resignation of Commissioner Dr Roselyn Akombe, from the electoral agency, IEBC.
Akombe who resigned Wednesday morning, said IEBC secretariat is very divided, on partisan lines, saying her voice was being heard, by some commissioners. She also cited security concerns and threats to her life.
Through Twitter, NASA, reiterated its stand, that there would be no elections on October 26.
The coalition said the presidential election was pre-rigged, something that its principals told the country, hence the reason to withdraw.
"When we said October 26, is a pre-rigged election and that was the basis of UhuRuto arrogance, people thought we were jokers. Roselyn Akombe confirms," said the coalition.
NASA is opposed to the election, and is leading "No Reforms No Election" campaigns, while President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto (UhuRuto), have maintained that the election will go on as planned.
