NASA has planned rallies in Ukambani and the Coastal region during the weekend to drum up support for Raila Odinga. The Saturday rallies will start in Garsen, Witu, Lamu. Kaloleni, Rabai, Mariakani then in Mombasa.
Mwatate, Taveta, Wandunyi and Voi rallies will be held on Sunday. During these rallies, NASA has promised to reveal Jubilee’s main aim in Ukambani and Coastal region.
“In NASA, we have the solutions. In Jubilee, eating is more important than serving taxpayers,” said Kibisu Kabatesi, NASA communications director, as quoted by the Star.
Kabatesi also said that the opposition alliance will inform Kenyans how issues affecting them will be sorted if they are voted in. The environmental problems that are rampant at the coast are at the center of NASA campaigns.
“The campaigns will focus on how to solve issues affecting the environment and marine life as well as deal with matters of mineral exploitation and licensing. We’ll continue to focus on every part of our great country since because NASA’s main goal is to empower people in an inclusive government,” Kibisu said.
The opposition will also deal with the Navy harassment reported at the coast.
“We will remind them the Navy should not harass them in their own waters,” he added.
