NASA Presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga and his running mate Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka have maintained that they won the last general elections.
Through Senator James Orengo, NASA claims that Jubilee colluded with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to ensure that President Kenyatta retains power despite losing.
Orengo told the Supreme Court that the two parties forged documents, altered details various forms and ‘doctored’ data during the election process.
"Our case has been proved that forgery, alteration of documents fakery and deception have been used in various ways, including one in which the server was used," NASA lawyer James Orengo told the court, as quoted by Star.
The senator added that the alleged underhand tactics affected around five million votes.
"These affected nearly five million votes," he added.
Lawyer Paul Muite, however, reminded the court that there is no way it can nullify elections based on allegations.
"You can't be asked to nullify the election on the basis of allegations, suspicions, my Lord, but there is no challenging the numbers, the votes," lawyer Paul Muite said.
According to the leaders, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s win does not reflect the will of the people of Kenya.
