Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar has come out to address claims of being a Jubilee mole.
Speaking during a meet-the-people tour in Jomvu constituency on Saturday, Omar who has come under sharp criticism from Governor Hassan Joho’s supporters over claims that he is being used by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto to divide NASA votes in Mombasa, said those thriving on the 'mole' claims have sensed defeat."I'm in the race for Mombasa governor because I believe I have what it takes to change the lives of the people here. I'm not anyone's project and those thriving on this are looking for sympathy after realizing that they will lose the election,” said the Wiper Secretary General.Omar who was accompanied by his running mate Linda Shuma and other Wiper aspirants called on the residents to vote out the Joho administration, arguing that the current leadership has failed to provide basic services to the locals. While asking the residents to back NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, the firebrand Senator said that the two will bring the much needed change in the country.
