NASA senator Cleophas Malala has said that the opposition coalition will make Raila Odinga the president.
The senator was addressing youths in Kakamega on Friday.
He said that the constitution has a provision that they could help Raila Odinga be the president of this country by swearing him in.
“We shall keep this Jubilee government on its toes. What the Jubilee lawyers are advising the government is complete nonsense. They will be surprised because it’s like they have forgotten what their MPs recently passed in parliament,” said the senator.
He said this referring the bill that was passed recently in parliament giving any judge the powers to swear in a president-elect.
Malala added that there will be a counter-reaction from the opposition coalition if Jubilee will go ahead to swear in the president.
