Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has said there are chances that NASA could easily break up if rifts are not monitored well.
Speaking on Monday, the senator suggested that the affiliate parties should be made to merge into one solid outfit to help foster unity.
Malala said that the current semi-union where parties remain autonomous is what to blame for the continued sibling rivalry and in-fights within the alliance.
“What is appearing as a possible fall out in NASA is due to conflict of interests. Party officials want to front their own opinion,” Malala said.
He was speaking in Siaya together with other NASA leaders.
Malala further said that the different routes of command in the NASA alliance was hampering the coalition’s attempt to reach a consensus on various plans.
“We should have sworn in Raila Odinga a long time, were it not for the dissenting opinions from affiliate parties,” Malala said.
