The NASA brigade has fired a warning shot at Jubilee saying they will not tolerate any form of rigging during the August 8 polls.
Speaking in a rally at Mariakani on Thursday, Kilifi County, ODM Chairman John Mbadi said any attempt by Jubilee to rig elections will backfire as they will not allow it.While warning of dire consequences should any form of rigging occur, Mbadi said that a time has come for Kenyans to vote out the current regime which he said has made life very unbearable.Mbadi who drummed up support for Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi in his re-election bid said under his (Kingi's) leadership, much development has been realized in the county. He further warned the residents against voting in Jubilee's Gideon Mung'aro. The ODM Chair also urged residents in the county to gift Senator Stewart Madzayo a second term in office noting that the Senator is a good legislator who represents the interests of the county well in the Senate.Siaya Senator James Orengo backed Mbadi's sentiments noting that as a coalition, they will not allow Jubilee to rig the August 8 Presidential results.Orengo further hit out at the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led Jubilee government claiming that they were using the issue of title deeds as a campaign tool, to woo voters to support their re-election.
