Suna East MP Junet Mohammed says the opposition outfit NASA, will swear Raila Odinga as president with or without IEBC’s blessings.
An epic battle is looming between Odinga, who is running for the fourth time with President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is seeking a reelection.
But Mohammed, a confident of Odinga, has accused IEBC of plotting to rig elections using a Dubai based company which was contracted to print presidential ballot papers.
“I want to make it clear that we shall not accept any rigged election and we are aware they have started their monkey business. Let us wait for August to see who carries it all.
“Uhuru cannot beat us and as a team, we shall swear Odinga as president whether they like it or not. The mood on the ground is ripe and everyone is after change,” he further said.
Already, the opposition leader has set a parallel tallying center in Tanzania, Germany with another one strategically placed in Nairobi.
Constitutionally, IEBC is the only body allowed to make final pronouncements of elections and it will be interesting to see the unfolding events should Odinga be declared the loser.
