Raila Odinga-led NASA coalition has said they have no plans of halting their plan to swear in Odinga.

The coalition intends to swear in Odinga as the ‘people’s president’, which is scheduled for December 12.

This comes despite the arrest of David Ndii, NASA’s main strategist who was appointed to chair the committee on the people’s assembly.

The team says they will today, Tuesday, roll out a programme that will lead to Odinga’s swearing-in, with the venue yet to be confirmed.

On Monday, Raila hit out at the government for arresting Ndii, saying no amount of intimidation will halt their course.

“These are basically designed to try to and intimidate and blackmail the people of Kenya. Mr.  David Ndii has committed no crime, and we know why he is being harassed here, and we know the matter is not ending with him. I know that other people are going to be arrested.

He added: “But I want to say this for free to this government, the people of Kenya will not be intimidated to submission, the will of the people of Kenya cannot be suppressed through arrest, prosecutions, blackmail,”

The coalition has maintained that they will not recognize president Kenyatta as a duly elected president.
