NASA has finally settled on four candidates for the hotly contested East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA) slots.

The four include NASA leader Raila Odinga's brother Oburu Oginga and the coalition's co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka's son Kennedy Musyoka.

The other two settled upon are Norman Magaya and Fatuma Ibrahim.

Minority Leader John Mbadi has pledged with NASA-affiliated MPs and Senators to support the four during voting at the Senate and National Assembly on Thursday.

Even though they had earlier submitted 12 nominees, Mbadi said the four were reached after "extensive consultations between the leadership and the rank and file of the NASA coalition".

"NASA legislators are, therefore, advised to adhere to the list above when voting this afternoon," Mbadi said as quoted by The Star.

Kenya has been allocated a total of nine slots at the regional House where NASA will provide four while the ruling Jubilee fills the other five.
