NASA co-principal and Amani Coalition Party leader Musalia Mudavadi has condemned the violence that was witnessed on Tuesday in Laare, Igembe South, Meru county.
Mudavadi said the happenings in Meru are a clear indication that Jubilee is keen to rule the nation on a divided base.
"Jubilee is determined to lock certain parts of the country and declare them no-go zones for the opposition," said Mudavadi.
The opposition leader also termed the Laare incident a dictatorship fueled by Jubilee and urged Kenyans to desist from the trap.
"We appeal to Kenyans to resist Jubilee plan to re-introduce dictatorship. The attack on NASA supporters and burning of the podium was carefully planned by Meru Jubilee politicians," he added.
Violence erupted in Laare hours before NASA staged a rally in the area, where the podium to be used was torched down leading to a cancellation of the rally by the opposition.
