[Photo|Nasa coalition]The National Super Alliance (Nasa) has dismissed reports that it postponed and rescheduled its planned announcement that was set for Monday.In a communique, Nasa denied that the meeting would be held on Tuesday at Wiper Democratic Movement party offices.The Raila Odinga led coalition indicated that another date and time would be communicated."Contrary to reports in sections of the media Hon Raila Odinga has not rescheduled his 'Grand Announcement' to 10 a.m tomorrow at Wiper Headquarters," dismissed Nasa."We will communicate to you the exact date and time of the announcement," added the communication, Monday evening.
However ODM Director of Elections Junet Mohammed said Raila 'was in the kitchen cooking and would serve' on Tuesday at 10 am.Odinga was scheduled to make an announcement to the nation, shortly after the IEBC declared President Uhuru Kenyatta as the president elect.Odinga had pledged to make an announcement on Monday to give his followers the way forward after IEBC conducted the fresh presidential election.NASA supporters were awaiting the announcement from their leader which would likely be done from Uhuru Park.''We will make our major announcement after IEBC announces its final results. It doesn't matter how long it will take. If the Commission declares its results today, we will make our announcement. If it does tomorrow, we will do the same tomorrow," said Odinga through a communique, Monday.
