Earlier reports had indicated that Ruto was not in good terms with his NASA co-principals over his failure to show up key rallies and press conferences.
On Friday, after NASA won the election petition case, many people expected the former Bomet governor to be present in court, but he was not available.
Speaking during a press briefing on Monday afternoon, Mudavadi dismissed the reports as mere rumors.stated that Ruto
“I would like to assure you that we are in touch with Governor Isaac Ruto.He has assured us that he is firmly on board…We have no doubt that he is firmly with us. He is handling a few issues. We have apologies from him,” he stated., after constant questions from the press over Ruto’s whereabouts,” he said.
Over the recent past, Ruto has been missing from a number of NASA rallies and press conferences after losing his seat to Joyce Laboso.
