[Photo| Courtesy]The National Super Alliance (Nasa) says it will retain the nomination of Suba South MP John Mbadi as minority leader in the National Assembly and Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula as leader of minority in the senate. According to Nasa’s Chief Executive Officer Norman Magaya, the coalition agreed to nominate the two legislators as the house leaders. He further said that the coalition was finalising the list of other nominees will occupy the various House Committees.“Mbadi and Wetangula still remain the coalition’s choice of preferred leaders in both Houses of Parliament. The coalition is however, in consultation with party members to agree on names of other nominees who will occupy the various House Committees,” Magaya on Monday. Wetangula and Mbadi's nomination had earlier been rejected by the house speakers. Senate Speaker Lusaka rejected Wetangula’s nomination on grounds that due process was not followed while National Assembly speaker Justin Muturi rejected Mbadivs nomination saying he had received many complaints from the NASA-affiliate parties over the alliance’s House leadership.
