Drama ensued in Bungoma on Saturday after supporters of opposition NASA disrupted a burial ceremony by attacking two leaders allied to the Jubilee Party.
The National Super Alliance (Nasa) supporters accused the two MPs of betraying the community.
The MPs who were heckled are Didmus Barasa (Kimilili) and Mwambu Mabonga (Bumula).
The burial ceremony was for Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi’s father.
Trouble began when Mr Barasa arrived at the venue of the ceremony while Senator Moses Wetangula, who is also a Nasa co-principal, was addressing the mourners.
The rowdy youth heckled Barasa for supporting the re-election bid of Jubilee Party leader Uhuru Kenyatta.
