A section of NASA supporters in Kisii has dismissed Deputy President William Ruto's claims that NASA coalition hired militia to block the repeat presidential election.
Reacting to his recent interview with CNN, they said Ruto wanted to paint a bad name for Raila's supporters.
Charles Ogechi, a strong NASA supporter, said the people who blocked the IEBC from conducting elections in many areas were just loyalists who want change for Kenya.
"I personally followed the interview and Ruto lied to the world that we NASA supporters were hired to disrupt the elections, I would like to tell him that we did it out of good will," said Charles
Davis Mouko said Ruto misled the world.
"Ruto for instance mentioned that there was a turn out of about 7.5 million people while we're much aware that Chebukati said its only 6.5 million people who turned out to vote," said Mouko
Their reactions comes just a day after Ruto on Saturday held an exclusive interview with CNN and said that a lot of Kenyans were ready to participate in the repeat polls but were threatened by their NASA competitors' militia.
