The National Super Alliance (NASA) supporters in Uasin Gishu county have set up a pay bill number that will be used to raise funds to facilitate their campaigns ahead of the October 17 fresh Presidential elections.

The over 200 supporters on Wednesday held a meeting in Eldoret town where they agreed to raise funds for their local campaigns.

Addressing the press after the meeting, NASA North Rift presidential campaigns coordinator Kipkorir Menjo reaffirmed their commitment towards helping their presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka to win the repeat elections.

"We have agreed to have local arrangement where we can raise funds to facilitate our campaigns here in Uasin Gishu so that we boost the chances of beating our Jubilee competitors," Menjo noted.

"Members have also resolved that due to financial constrains me should consider having volunteer agents for the polls," he added.

The NASA supporters further said they will put in place mechanisms that will ensure votes cast for Raila Odinga are not manipulated.

"We know this is a Jubilee stronghold but that doesn't mean we allow the few votes our candidates will get are stolen," noted Moira Chepkok who unsuccessfully vied for Uasin Gishu Woman Representative seat on a Amani National Congress (ANC) ticket.
