Led by the Nakuru West ODM chair George Omwembe, the supporters demonstrated all the way through Kaptembwa and Rhonda wards of Nakuru west before addressing media at the Nakuru ODM office.

While applauding the Supreme Court for the ruling, the ODM Chair said that the court had proved its independence.

“We would like to commend all the judges of the Supreme Court for their decision. For the first time in Kenyan History we now have justice,” he said.

Sentiments echoed by Kaptembwa MCA Peter Kajwang who said the decision of the Supreme Court was a clear warning to the future electoral body.

“Today is the happiest day in the country for we now have justice. The decision by the court is a clear warning to the future electoral body to ensure the will of the people is respected,” he said.
