Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyong'o has welcomed Nyanza residents to a meeting ahead of the Supreme Court ruling on Friday.
The governor has stated that residents will hold prayers at the ACK St Stephens Cathedral Church as they await the verdict from the Supreme Court.
Governor Nyong'o also plans to issue out t-shirts labeled "Luo Lives Matter" to honor the leaders who have died yet their murders have not been solved.
Nyong'o spoke during the burial service of the late Christabel Ouko who was the wife of former minister Robert Ouko.
NASA leader Raila Odinga has also made plans with fellow members of his ODM party to hold a prayer meeting as they await the verdict of presidential petition.
