National Super Alliance Narok chapter has suspended anti – IEBC protests until they reconstitute local ODM leadership following defections to Jubilee.
Jubilee party has launched an onslaught on the opposition coalition with hundreds of locals’ leaders joining Jubilee party.
MPs Moitalel Ole Kenta (Narok North) and Ledama Ole Kina said the move will allow the team to be more organized to repulse Jubilee strategies.
“A number of our foot soldiers have been lured to Jubilee and as leadership, we want to fill vacant positions so that we do not have vacuums,” Kenta said.
Ole Kina on his part added:” We can organize demonstrations without causing chaos and this will happen as soon as we restructure our leadership.”
The opposition team has set Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays as dates for peaceful protests against the electoral body.
Opposition leader Raila Odinga insists that he will not participate in any elections until a section of IEBC officials are sacked.
