The National Super Alliance talks aimed at choosing flag bearer are intact, says Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire, who is also part of the technical committee.
A local newspaper has sensationally reported that the coalition was in a limbo over flag bearer with an MP from former Eastern Province being at the center of the crisis.
And Bosire now says that the opposition outfit‘s committee is in advanced talks and would present the formula of picking its presidential candidate.
“I don’t think the whole issue (about stalemate) has any element of truth. We have advanced well and soon we shall give our supporters what they want,” said bosire in an interview with the reporter.
“The talks are in a high level and we expect to reach a conclusion. Every member is giving important submissions and hopefully we shall provide a candidate soonest,” he added.
Kalonzo Musyoka, Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi are in contention for NASA ticket.
Recently, Mr. Musyoka hinted that the coalition could push for creation of MP position to accommodate other principals.
