Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi has said the National Super Alliance (NASA) is the best political outfit that will send the Jubilee administration home.

Mudavadi accused Jubilee of failing to deliver its promises to Kenyans among them solving land issues, noting that it doesn’t deserve to be re-elected.

The former vice president at the same time said he founded NASA and there is no way he will run away from it.

“Under their trademark of deceit and dishonesty, they think they can solve Coast people’s desperation by giving them fake land title deeds. Even after the courts said the title deeds are fake, President Uhuru Kenyatta still insists the title deeds are genuine, because he does not believe in the rule of law,” he said as quoted by the Star.

“I formed NASA. Everywhere I went I talked of NASA, others thought I was crazy, today ODM, ANC, Wiper and Ford Kenya are together. We are now targeting Mashinani and even Kanu,” he added.

He further said the alliance’s co-principals will stay united even after the naming of the presidential flag bearer.

He said all leaders have agreed to fight together to the end and thus the ongoing tension over who will fly the NASA flag during the forthcoming August 8 general election should not be a concern.

Mudavadi added that they are also negotiating with other opposition parties, including Kanu and Chama Cha Mashinani, to join the alliance to ensure the opposition wins the polls.

He made the remarks during a rally in Gede on Saturday. He was accompanied by MPs Alfred Agoi (Sabatia), John Sakwa (Nambale), ANC chairman Kelvin Lunani and more than 20 aspirants.

He also condemned last Friday’s incident in Turkana County where ODM leader Raila Odinga’s rally was disrupted by rowdy youth.

The ANC leader called for peaceful campaigns ahead of the elections.

“What happened in Turkana should not be witnessed anywhere else in the country. We want peace. Why come with guns to a public rally to disrupt someone from addressing the people?’’ posed Mudavadi.
