A senator has hinted the opposition NASA plans to appoint chiefs and their assistants to manage it's government at grass-root level.
Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala said on Saturday, the administrators will be tasked to coordinate the opposition government's activities at location and sub location levels and ensure NASA's operations smoothly run.
Malala, however, said he appointments will begin after the swearing in of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka as opposition chief Raila Odinga's deputy as well as the inauguration of ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula as Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers respectively.
NASA in the run-up to the August 8 general election had crafted a leadership line up where Raila would be President, Kalonzo Deputy President, Mudavadi Prime Minister and Moses Wetangula and former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto Deputy Prime Ministers respectively.
"We will have out own chiefs and assistant chiefs to run NASA ioperations at the grassroots level," Malala said on Saturday during the burial of former Vice President Kijana Wamalwa's widow Yvonne Wamalwa.
"But before that Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetangula have tobe sworn in."
NASA is currently at loggerheads with the government over the recent inauguration of Raila as the people's president. The event has led to the arrest of several opposition leaders.
