According to Muthama, NASA is working on a campaign time table that will see its flag bearer Raila Odinga and principals hold rallies across the country.

Muthama on Tuesday said that the alliance will stage serious campaigns that have never been witnessed in the county’s political history.

“Our first rally as NASA will be in Nakuru next week on a date and day that we will communicate later this week,” said Muthama as quoted by the Star.

Muthama added that NASA will be releasing a campaign timetable that with the alliance flag bearer, his deputy and principals traverse the country in search of votes.

The Machakos senator urged NASA supporters to turn up in large numbers during the rallies.

“We will go to every corner of this country to sell our agenda to Kenyans,” he said.

Muthama asked President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party to expect a political showdown in the August 8 polls.

He said that NASA’s agenda is to send Jubilee packing and liberate Kenyans from social, political and economic hardships allegedly caused by Jubilee government.

NASA unveiled its presidential line last week with ODM leader Raila Odinga being endorsed as flag bearer and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka as running mate.

The NASA line up has elicited mixed reactions with some political analysts saying that it has no muscles to wrestle Jubilee out of power in August polls.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto have also criticized the NASA line up saying they will floor it just as they did in 2013.

Jubilee claims that NASA’s agenda is only to share power and cannot be trusted with the country’s leadership.
