NASA coalition has vowed to proceed with their demonstrations across the country including in the Nairobi,Kisumu and Mombasa CBD defying CS Matiangi ban.
Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo who has been on the coalition's legal aid told members of the press while at Kenyatta National Hospital that the ban was in their view illegal.
"We will have demonstrations as scheduled tomorrow. The directive by the CS is in our view unlawful," said Mr Amollo.
He added that the decision to have NASA CEO Norman Magaya face charges over property destroyed during the demos was unwarranted as it is the responsibility of the police to protect property and lives.
Mr Amollo accused the CS of taking side saying not only NASA supporters were involved in the protests but they had been singled out as the move did not mention other participants as the business community group.
Amollo was in the company of Nairobi Women representative Esther Passaris and Dagoreti North MP Simba Arati who had visited numbers of their supporters that had been injured in the protests.
