NASA leaders led by Raila Odinga (photo/standardmedia.co.ke)The opposition outfit National Super Alliance (NASA) is planning to expand the economic boycott to more companies which it claims has hindered them on taking Kenyans to 'Cannan'.
NASA leader Raila Odinga confirmed this while speaking on Saturday at a funeral of one of his supporters at Ugunja,Siaya County,who died during his homecoming from the United States (US).
“We will escalate economic boycott until this regime goes down,” said Odinga.
However,he did not disclose the names of the firms that will be blacklisted.
The opposition chief also hit at President Uhuru Kenyatta as a State at war with its citizens terming jubilee government as rogue.
“We live now in a rogue state, a State that has gone rogue, a State that is now killing its own innocent people,” said Mr Odinga.
He added that Jubilee is an illegitimate government and is using state personnel to silence the public.
“When a State has become rogue like this there are remedies, a people cannot be ruled against their will you cannot impose ruler on the people, an illegitimate government cannot be made legitimate through the use of arms,” said the opposition leader.
