National Super Alliance (Nasa) leaders will be meeting today Tuesday to further strategise on the August 8 general election.
Key on the agenda will be to work on unravelling the tough puzzle of picking the coalition's flag bearer in the presidential elections.
The meeting, which will congregate ODM leader Raila Odinga, has been touted as the important make-or-break opportunity for the Nasa principals as each fights for a chance to battle Jubilee’s Uhuru Kenyatta in August.
However, co-principal Musalia Mudavadi on Monday downplayed the relevance of the meeting saying that the opposition was facing no crisis.
“What people are speculating about are normal issues within a coalition that is seeking a presidential candidate,” he said.
Mudavadi's sentiments have also been shared by co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper and Moses Wetang’ula of Ford-Kenya who said they have full confidence that NASA's national coordinating committee will agree on the best way to nominate their presidential candidate.
