Photo/the-star.co.keThe National Super Alliance (Nasa) has been advised to stop deluding themselves that they stand a chance of harvesting more votes in Nakuru County during the August 8 polls.
Senatorial aspirant Susan Kihika on Saturday maintained that the vote rich country would vote for the Jubilee government and told Nasa to stop daydreaming of staging an upset.
"I'm told some people are claiming that Nakuru is a battleground. That Nakuru could vote for the opposition? We are telling those naysayers that Nakuru is solidly in Jubilee," she said.
Kihika who is also the Nakuru county assembly speaker spoke during a rally held at the Nyayo Gardens and which was attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto among a host of other leaders.
Her attack seemed to be aimed at former Subukia MP Koigi Wamwere who defected to the opposition shortly after losing in the Jubilee senatorial primaries.
"That fellow who managed 17 votes during nominations is claiming he will deliver Nakuru elsewhere. We are telling him that he is lost," she added.
